Terms of sale & licence agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and Hassan Raza, who makes and sells XIRO ("we", "us"). They apply when you buy, install or use XIRO. We've written them in plain English. Please read them, because buying or using XIRO means you accept them.
1. Buying XIRO
The price is the one shown on our pricing page when you buy. If a limited-time offer is running, the offer price is the price you pay, once. There are no later or recurring charges from us.
Card and wallet payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy takes the payment, charges any sales tax or VAT due in your country, and issues your receipt, so their buyer terms apply to the payment too. We never see your card details.
Bank transfer, JazzCash and Easypaisa payments are made to us directly. Your licence is issued once the payment has reached us.
Your licence key is emailed to the address you buy with. Keep it safe, because it's your proof of purchase.
2. Your licence
When you buy, we grant you a lifetime, non-exclusive licence to install and use XIRO:
- on up to three devices at a time. You can move the licence between devices from the licence portal, and we may agree to add more slots;
- for personal and commercial use, including running it in your business and answering your customers with the order desk;
- for as long as you keep to these terms. "Lifetime" means the life of the product, not a fixed number of years, and it doesn't expire.
The licence belongs to the person or business that bought it. It is not a sale of the software itself. Everything you create with XIRO, such as documents, notes and data, is yours.
3. Updates
"Lifetime updates" means every new version of XIRO we release, for as long as we continue to develop and distribute it, at no extra cost. Updates are offered inside the app. Installing them is your choice, though older versions may stop working with services that change over time.
Updates may add, change or remove features. If we ever stop running the licence server, we will make reasonable efforts to release an update that lets existing licences keep working without it.
4. Activation and licence checks
XIRO needs the internet to activate on a device, and checks its licence with our server now and then. Between checks it keeps working offline for up to 14 days with a licence key, or up to 7 days when you sign in with Google. Activation sends us your licence key, a one-way code for the device and the device's name; signing in with Google instead sends your Google email and name and a public key made on the device. See the privacy policy.
We may switch off a licence that has been refunded, charged back, shared, resold, or used in breach of these terms. It then stops working at its next check.
5. What you may not do
- Share your licence key, or use one licence on more devices than it allows.
- Resell, rent, lend or sublicense XIRO or your key without our written permission.
- Remove, bypass or tamper with the licence check, or help anyone else do so.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble XIRO, except where the law or an open-source licence (section 12) allows it.
- Use XIRO to break the law, to harm others, to send spam, or to get around the rules of the services it connects to.
6. Your AI provider and other services
XIRO uses the AI provider you choose: Google Gemini with your own key, or a model running on your own computer. Your use of that provider is between you and them, under their terms, and any charges they make are yours. The same goes for services you connect, such as WhatsApp Business, Telegram, Meta, Google accounts and smart-home devices. We aren't responsible for those services, their availability, or changes they make.
7. Using XIRO responsibly
- XIRO acts on your computer. It asks before changes, but you decide what to approve. Read each prompt, keep backups, and check important results.
- AI can be wrong. Replies, documents, research and office work are produced by AI and can contain mistakes. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
- The order desk speaks for your business. You're responsible for your products, prices, offers and promises, for how customers are answered, and for following consumer-protection, privacy and messaging rules, including Meta's and WhatsApp's policies.
- Other people's data. If XIRO handles information about other people, such as customers, contacts or family, you're responsible for having the right to use it.
8. Not professional advice
The mentor, the investor clinic, market figures, study help and any other information XIRO gives are for learning and general information only. They are not financial, investment, legal, medical or other professional advice. Parental control helps manage a child's computer time but can't guarantee their safety. XIRO's security features protect the app and don't replace your operating system's security.
9. Refunds
Refunds follow the refund policy, which forms part of these terms. In short, XIRO is a one-time digital licence at a reduced price, so all sales are final and there are no refunds for a change of mind. You get a full refund if XIRO is faulty and we can't fix it, and any refund ends the licence. A duplicate payment or an overpayment is always returned. Your rights under consumer law are not affected. How and when your licence is delivered is set out in the delivery & service policy, which also forms part of these terms.
10. Warranty
We work hard to make XIRO reliable and we fix problems you report in updates where we can. Apart from that, and to the extent the law allows, XIRO is provided "as is", without other promises that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country that can't be excluded.
11. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits, lost data or business interruption, and our total liability for anything to do with XIRO is limited to the amount you paid for your licence. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as for fraud.
12. Open-source components
XIRO includes open-source software made by others. Each component stays under its own licence, listed in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt in XIRO's install folder. Where those licences give you rights, for example to inspect, modify or replace a component, nothing in these terms takes those rights away. See copyright.
13. Ending the licence
You can stop using XIRO at any time. We may end your licence if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 and 15 continue after the licence ends.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or XIRO changes. The new version applies to purchases and updates from its effective date, and we'll show that date at the top of this page. A change won't take away the lifetime licence you've already bought.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Please contact us first, because most problems are solved quickly that way. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and can use its courts.
